- I need some ideas on how to make a slinky from toy story costume for dog!!!?
Ok so my almost 3yr old will be going as Woody from Toy Story for Halloween and I want our new puppy to go as slink the slinky dog. But I can't find a costume for it. Any ideas on how to make one or anyother costume from toy story?? Btw The puppy is a corgi but very small only about 13 weeks old rite now.
A What a GREAT idea! You might try checking your local farm supply store for equine body paint (some people actually do paint on their horses!) - you could buy some silver equine paint to paint the slinky coils on your puppy's middle. The rest you can just use bits of felt or other cheap fabric, and I bet you can buy a green collar (if you don't already have one) from your local dollar store. Good luck! i need to go to a dress up party as slinky dog from toy story. i'm thinking hula hoops sprayed silver around my tummy. aaaaaaaany other ideas? how else could i do the slinky bit? thanks. :)
A pick up some shiny alunimum dryer venting at the home improvement store. it has wires in in you can shape anround your middle, it will be lightweight and you can cover it with cloth, or paper to match your costume color. have fun!!!
