Ok so I have three tiny dogs - two shih tsus and a poodle. I want to dress them up for Halloween. Last year our theme was Little Mermaid. I had a lobster, fish, and the third one was the dog because he looked like the little mermaid dog. This year I want to do Wizard of Oz... Any ideas on how to make a Tin Man and Cowardly Lion costumes for two shih tsus and a Scareceow for a mini poodle? No - I am not crazy. Halloween is a big deal here. I dress up too, Dorothy this year. The little mini dress with the white stockings. Ruby slippers and all. Woo hoo. I spend a week decorating inside and out and I get hundreds of kids. People come and take pics. I have foggers in the bushes, strobe lights, the whole nine yards. The dogs adore Halloween because they love all the kids. Come on guys, how can I dress them up? Persi Cool ... I will look at those. I don't need a Dorothy ... that is me. You had to see the little lobster shih tzu last year - he was so adorable.
A For the scarecrow, your dog can have hay on its head and around the feet and a little on the back. You may consider tying a few little sticks to make it look more woody. Dont be too harsh on the poor creature though! A scared lion with a dog! Difficult. Shih tsus are a good breed for that. comb his hair to make it fall like mane. Ah! That will be too funny. And comb the fur on the body to make it appear less prominent than the 'mane'. It will appear timid anyhow, dogs cant be lions, you see. ***Please post some pix, of you Halloween party, Dear Dorothy!*** TW K

im a sixteen year old girl and i want to dress up like todo off of the wizard of oz for halloween. me and my friends are doing a wizard of oz theme and i got the dog. but i need ideas on how i can do this so any ideas? remember that i am sixteen and i want to look as cute as possible but im wearing it to school so it cant be trashy looking
